Reports of a surrender in March 2015 were denied by the then-regional commander Major General Fransen G. Siahaan, who said those who surrendered were 23 of his supporters. There is no report of his capture or death.
Verification noteThe earlier claim that Son Tabuni is Anton Tabuni's son is withdrawn for lack of a source. What is documented is Gerson Son Tabuni, a KNPB activist in Timika (2020), not Anton's son, while Anton's verified child is Jefri Tabuni, killed in 2025. Anton Tabuni is indeed secretary-general of TPNPB-OPM, but no source states any family relationship between him and Goliath.

Track Record of Crimes & Threats

  • Instructed open guerrilla warfare and fatal assaults on security posts and Trans-Papua highway construction workers since 2011 in Puncak Jaya.
  • Formed younger field command networks (Lekagak Telenggen, Numbuk Telenggen, Kalenak Murib) executing arsons of schools, clinics, and killings of migrant workers.
  • Ordered non-stop retaliatory strikes after firefights and exploited local village funds (Dana Desa) distributions to finance militia operations.
